Ballad Of The Spirits was born from a two month long residency focusing on recycled materials and sustainability, resulting in a multi-media installation of three one minute animated video loops made from and projected onto materials found at CUCCR (Center For Creative Reuse) in associated with Concordia University. Each video displays a swarm of thrown away objects being reborn into their newly acquainted bodies, constructed by working together to form their own anatomy. The objects, which seemingly move by their own impetus, attempt to share a story of how the cyclical nature of recycling too is an unbroken chain of the law of karma.
