Bar Do Thos Grol is an abstract embodiment of animated passages taken from the Tibetan Book Of The Dead, which vividly describes the experiences that the consciousness must go through after death, in what is called the Bardo--the interval between death and the next rebirth to achieve reincarnation. Embracing images of what it may be to cross over and interlocking the liminal state between being and becoming. With broken-narrative, hand drawn imagery, voice and music attempt to reflect the visceral intricacies of both the fear and acceptance needed before crossing into the unknown.
